Eric and Sonja : You're the One

Meet Sonja and Eric. A nice couple for who will be wed this summer. 

We set up this e-shoot to be inside Balzacs, a nice coffee shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake where they like to have dates, because of the terribly cold weather we have had all winter. Avoid the cold at all costs! I was pumped to shoot indoors like this as it's a bit out of the norm for me, and it would be a challenge. And wouldn't you know it... a beauty ( and a bit warmer ) day outside. 

Compromise... We did a bunch of sweet stuff inside, enjoyed a hot drink drink, and then headed outside for some more of the good stuff.

Such a great couple, such a great shoot. Can't wait for their big day!

Sandra + Steve: You're the One

Another cold January day calls for an engagement shoot in an open field, don't you think? Why not!?

That's what Sandra convinced Steve to do. Drive off to an old barn in Dunnville and stand around while I try to make them forget it's cold outside and cuddle up together. Piece of cake. 

Steve and Sandra hope to be married in March, yet another warm time of year here in Southern Ontario. I look forward to it as I have known Sandra my entire life and am very happy for her and Steve to have found eachother to spend the rest of their lives together. God is good. 

So get some hot chocolate ready, because when you're done with this set, you'll need some warming up.

God surely blessed me and my talents in 2013. So busy, so much fun, and I still so much love my job! With out going on and on, here's the best 25 photos I was commissioned to shoot this year. Here's to a bigger and better 2014.

Ryan and Casey: You're the One!

Meet Casey and Ryan. A couple who really likes to go for walks in the woods on really really cold days in November. BRRR!

These love birds will be married next summer and they couldn't be happier. They asked me if they could do their engagement shoot in the forest across the road from Casey's mom's place.
Absolutely.
We trekked out there, and found a bendy tree, a board walk, a rejuvenated section of trees, and just some sweet spots to takes some flicks.

Congratulations guys on your engagement. All the best for the future together!

Now grab a coat, ear muffs and 2 pairs of mitts and come for a walk with us. Its cold out there.
